Each winter, West Sugar Creek Ministries leads our “Blankets & Blessings” initiative to ensure no one is left out in the cold. Our goal at the start of every season is to collect and distribute at least 150 blankets along with essential cold-weather items to those in need throughout our outreach areas. Last year, we successfully reached that goal—and this year, we’re raising the bar. We are committed to doubling our impact, expanding our reach, and bringing even more warmth, comfort, and care to the community during the harshest months of the year.

From the Street 2 Stability is our core outreach program, built on a simple principle—we meet people where they’re at. Whether someone is under a bridge, in a shelter, or already in housing but struggling to maintain it, we step in with real support and consistent presence. Through lived-experience-led engagement, we help individuals move from instability to stability, connecting them to resources, housing, and opportunities for growth. For those ready to take the next step, we also provide guidance on financial literacy and credit building, creating a pathway not just to stability—but toward long-term independence and homeownership.
